About Wrestling:Hello, I am going to be talking about one of the first sports in the world. In my opinion, Wrestling is possibly one of the hardest sports to compete in, and takes a lot more practice than other sports do. Womens wrestling became worldwide in the early 1990's in highschool and college. College wrestling for women only includes freestyle, and does not include greco or folkstyle. This year was the first ever girls states for highschool in Michigan. Not many women wrestle, and up until recently people had thought that a woman wrestling was weird or different but for me, I've been wrestling since I was 4 years old, so it has never been weird to me to see another girl wrestling.
